"And this just feels like spinning plates
I'm living in cloud cuckoo land
And this just feels like spinning plates
Our bodies floating down the muddy river"
Radiohead has been around since 1987. This alternative band from England has enjoyed much fame from their highly acclaimed 1997 album OK Computer. Their songs are magical, sad, inspiring, weird, mellow, and just plain cool. One of the best qualities of this band is the large variety of sounds that they incorporate into their songs. Some songs sound like they were made completely with machines and computers, while other songs rely solely on instruments. Their are Radiohead songs for different moods and because of this Radiohead is a band that you can listen to at any time. The one thing that is consistent between all their songs is the superb quality of each one. And the lead singer's (Thom Yorke) vocal range is tremendous. He has one of the best voices in the industry. Hell, when Moby was covering the Radiohead song "Creep" Moby could not sing the parts of the song where Thom goes high and so Moby had to have a woman sing those parts in the song. Although Thom usually looks like he is autistic, he and his band have immense musically talent (as a matter-of-fact, autistic people have a tendency to have a high aptitude for music).
